One comes to listen.At six there is nowhere to hide, and no one needs to raise their voice. It is the only bearing asked for, and it replaces any list of prohibitions.

No business is done here.Nothing is offered, negotiated or arranged. It is a rule of bearing, not a restriction on anyone’s trade : what one does the next day is one’s own affair.

Rarity comes from the number, never from the milieu.People are not joined by a social profile. They are joined by what they do and by the occasions they share.

An evening is not photographed.It exists only for those who were there. No image, no account of it, no names.

We guarantee by what we do not collect, never by what we promise.

A promise can be broken ; what does not exist cannot be lost. That is why this site carries no form, why the roll does not say where anyone came from, and why a refusal is recorded nowhere — there is nothing to record.
